Alison Smith, owner

Perfect Dress of Rome, formerly The Wedding Belle, was established in 1978 by Alison's Aunt-in-Love Reesa Milton. As a little girl, Alison dreamed of working in her Aunt Reesa's store. In 2010, she got the opportunity to not just work there but to purchase it!

Alison has a heart for not only helping brides find the Perfect Dress for their most important day, but also to help all women feel like the beautiful souls that they are.

As a native Roman, she also has a passion for her community and happily uses her store to help others. Past community involvement includes "Make a Wish", High School Leadership Rome, Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, member of Local School Governance Team for Garden Lakes Elementary and Coosa High School, Night to Shine prom, and other nonprofit organizations such as Rome Little Theatre, Hospitality House and Sexual Assault Center.

Alison has been married to her high school sweetheart Adam since 2001. They have three sons: Ryan, Drew and Alex.
